With the growing of production as well as the new factory was just moved??in about 6 months, Apextone is facing the problem of management and control both in the factory and sales headquarter.
The factory area is no so clean and not well organized though the space is a least 3 times bigger .The workshop is still very crowded??and the warehouse looks still too small and people can not find what they need in the warehouse.
All the above is causing the waste of the labour, low efficiency and producing procedure not so well.
The manage team is aware this problem and looking for help of management expert and find the Japan 7S theory is useful for our situation.
Then in 20th,July,2008,we help a training meeting for all the management team in the factory in 8th,August,2008 in the office.We discussed our situation, found the problems we have and worked out some ways to make our working environment well at the guidance of 7S.
We are now in practicing, such as buying and designing??more racks for the warehouse, taking??away some materials or parts not useful ,redesigning the producing procedure,put things in the place where they should be stay.
And we are sure our factory will be better organized than before and we have found the benefits we got from practicing 7S.
7S is a long way and we are sure we will be more and more understood
